Body and Soul: Restorative Yoga for People of Color
December 19, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Saturday December 19 from 3 – 5 pm PST
Body and Soul: Restorative Workshop for People of Color
with Deidra Demens
An asana practice for people of color to get some deep rest. In times such as these, exhaustion, tension and overwhelm are natural responses to what we are collectively experiencing. Restorative yoga offers us an opportunity to relax, quieting outward distractions so that we become inwardly receptive. This approach prioritizes YOU, finding rest in a supportive community.
Beginners with little yoga experience are most welcome. If you don’t have yoga props that is ok. Instructions will be given on how regular household items can be used in place of props.
This class will be held live online via Zoom, 3 pm Pacific Standard Time / 6 pm Eastern Time. This is appropriate for all levels.
