Hands down, feet up!  Arm Balances with Kim

September 27 @ 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm

This workshop will offer a joyful introduction to handstand and other arm balances.  We will explore hand and wrist health in the context of aparigraha, non-hoarding or grasping.

When our hands become our feet, our experience of the world changes. Using your hands in new ways is good for your mind and can bring fresh perspectives to your own ideas of strength and balance. When we spend hours driving, typing, gripping, we can forget the sustaining power and support available from an open and spread pair of hands.

During this workshop, Kimberley will teach you how to safely use your hands and wrists.  You will finally get up into that handstand and how learn how to approach arm balances so that they can become part of your regular practice. Get ready to explore Lolāsana, Titibhasana and other fun arm balances.

The way you perceive and use your hands can lead to less clenching and more contentment.
