Student Appreciation Week

The students often share how much Adeline Yoga is needed, wanted and appreciated in their lives. Through 1:1 conversations, email, social media and leaving us review – you let us know how vital our studio is for you.
Community. Welcoming. Inclusive. Dedication. Fun. Integrity. Uplifting. These are the words that came from each of YOU.
We are all those things because that is the environment you create.
We are offering this Student Appreciation week to show you just how much we love you.
The week includes:
- Free classes or talks every day
- Giveaways for anyone who attends two or more classes during the week
- An in-person clothing/prop swap on Saturday with a community dinner
- Bring a friend opportunities for any student on an active membership or pass
Free programs throughout the week + fantastic prizes to give away + a fun party.

Monday, March 13th:
10:45 – 11:45 am with Anneke (in-person, or online): Setting up and sustaining a home practice.
6 – 7 pm pst with Sandy Lamerson (on zoom): Understanding the doshas of Ayurveda – This free talk will introduce you to the concept of doshas and how the use of Ayurvedic principles can significantly boost your health.
After the talk, Sandy will lead a discussion about Spring Rejuvenation and answer all your questions about that program.
Tuesday, March 14th:
4 – 5:30 pm with Michelle Grady (in person): Healing Class: Combines self-massage with lacrosse balls and asana to release pain and stress.
Wednesday, March 15th:
9 -10:30 am with Tiffany Goss (on zoom): Asana & Ayurveda: Practicing Yoga to Support your dosha
After class, Tiffany will lead a discussion and answer all your questions about Ayurveda and the Spring Rejuvenation program.
5:30 – 6:30 pm pst with Sandy Lamerson (on zoom): Community Meditation
This is your opportunity to explore meditative practices within the eight limbed yoga tradition. In this zoom-based class, we will do asana and pranayama to prepare for meditation and then sit for silent meditation. We will will close with community discussion.
Thursday, March 16th
4-5:15 pm with Sachiko (in-person): Yoga for Self-Care
This class empowers students by guiding them to develop a well-rounded yoga practice for their own well-being. You will learn to use asana and pranayama practice to take care of your body and mind.
7:30-8:30 pm with Inbal & Ally (on zoom): What every beginner wants to know, but may be too shy to ask
This one-hour chit chat on zoom is for newcomers. Inbal and Ally will cover basic topics such as setting up your home space for zoom yoga and simple props you already have at home. For the yoga itself they will answer the most frequently asked questions such as what you can expect from a yoga practice and how to navigate the class schedule.
Friday, March 17th
10:45 – 11:45 am with Heather (in-person, or online): Learning to chant the Yoga Sutras.
One way to bring yoga philosophy into your life is to sing about it. We will be in-person to practice chanting the first chapter of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. No experience needed! We will provide a copy of sutras for you to chant.
Saturday, March 18th
In person party at the studio!
4 pm Clothing & Prop Swap
5 pm Potluck Dinner and Evening Program
ABOUT THE PARTY:
The Swap: 4 pm
You are invited to our first ever swap! Bring apparel, accessories, scarves, shoes, bags, hats, and jewelry, props and books to exchange exchange. In the end, everyone gets to go home with free, new-to-them pieces. It’s an amazing way to divert items from being down-cycled or going to waste, or from sitting in our closets collecting dust.
We will have additional gently-used props for sale at a deeply discounted rate. All proceeds go to the Yoga Blessings Fund.
Drop off no more than 10 items on 10:30 am after Anneke’s class or at 3 pm. Doors open for a preview at 3 pm. The Swap will go from 4 – 5.
The potluck: 5 pm onwards
An opportunity to get together with others that we adore. A community potluck. Celebrate each other. Share a vegetarian meal.
Please bring vegetarian fare to share. It can be an entree, appetizer, desert or beverage
It is so helpful when you label the ingredients.
Its awesome when you bring your own plate and utensils.

All you have to do is take a class! Anyone who takes two or more classes will be automatically entered into our giveaways!
We’ll announce the lucky winners throughout the week, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We have prize alternatives for our students who are not local.
