The start of the new year is typically a time where we resolve to start or re-start better habits and behaviors. It is an opportunity to start anew and create a powerful vision for the future. Yoga is not just a healthy new year’s resolution in of itself. Yoga is also a powerful means to spark your other visions for a better future. Sankalpa is the sanskrit word for “resolve”. In this series, students will have the opportunity to work with their new year’s sankalpas in a supportive community environment.

Ananda Ma is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher. She is also licensed by the State of California to practice both Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Interweaving her Taoist practice and having studied with Manouso Manos and Geeta Iyengar, Ananda seeks to inspire you about your health and life itself. She continues to deepen her own evolving knowledge of yoga through her ongoing study with the Iyengar family in Pune, India.
