Join us for an enriching and rejuvenating weekend of yoga exploration with Anneke Faas.
Adeline Yoga is delighted to host its inaugural in-house weekend immersion at our new location. This experience is designed to take your practice to new heights by giving you time to delve deeply into the subtleties of yoga under the expert guidance of Anneke Faas. Set within our spacious and serene new practice hall, this weekend immersion offers you a much-needed respite from the fast pace of daily life.
Over the span of three days, you’ll embark on a transformative journey that will nurture a connection between your body, mind, and spirit. The thoughtfully crafted itinerary promises a holistic experience: extended asana sessions, guided pranayama, introspective philosophical discussions and chanting, all rooted in the Iyengar Yoga tradition.
Dedicated to offering personalized attention, Anneke will provide abundant opportunities for individualized feedback, empowering each participant to enhance their own practice. As you cultivate your practice, you’ll also foster deep connections with fellow participants, creating a sense of camaraderie and community that extends beyond the confines of the weekend.
A shared meal on Saturday evening and serene tea time outdoors will provide moments to witness the growth and blossoming of your own body, as well as the progress of your fellow practitioners, thereby cultivating a profound understanding of the art of Iyengar Yoga.
This program is tailored towards students with at least one year of consistent study in Iyengar yoga.
It will be held in person at Adeline Yoga Studio in Berkeley, CA
**Please note that dietary preferences and restrictions will be accommodated to ensure a shared meal that resonates with all participants.
“For me, these Immersions are all about filling in elements that we miss in our Zoom practices. I experience increased concentration and focus; energy feedback and exchange with my peers; and knowing that my teacher can effectively see me and offer more personal, structured instruction for improved posture and alignment. The weekend was just what I needed and I will sign up for any of these in the future. The format, timing, progression of posture over three days worked great for me.” – Alanna S.
“I discovered Adeline Yoga on zoom. As a new student, and probably the least experienced practitioner in the class, it was all upside for me. I learned a lot! I really enjoyed the group and energy – and the chanting. For me right now, I know I will make progress faster with occasional in-person classes. Adeline Yoga offers great teaching and a great community. The studio brings a lot of light to many people. ”
