4-5:30pm (Women’s Essentials)
There are stages of our life or times in our life when it seems like the world is on fire. Some of these transitions are hormonal (adolescence, peri-menopause) and others are created through external circumstances that ask us to go beyond our perceived limits. When our internal fire blazes too strongly it can burn us out and leave us anxious, angry, exhausted and overwhelmed. The secret is to cultivate a water crucible for these fiery transformations to take place in. How can we cultivate this flame of vitality without letting it burn us?
Join Cynthia for a month of cultivating the balance of water and fire in the body through yoga asana. Open to all women of all stages of life: Adolescence, Pregnancy, Motherhood, Peri-Menopause, Menopause.
1) How do we create space for difficult emotions to arise and be?
2) What antidotes can we apply when we feel out of control?
3) Can we learn to listen to our watery/reflective/intuitive inner voice while the fire blazes around us?
