January 10, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - January 24, 2018 @ 9:00 pm

3-Week Introduction to Developing a Home Practice

Wednesdays January 10, 17, 24 from 7:30 – 9:00 pm

Are you interested in starting a home practice? Have you attempted practicing at home and weren’t sure what to do? Perhaps you worry that you will do something wrong or maybe you’ve had a home practice in the past but just can’t get back into it.

Regardless of which category you fall into – this series will help you to gain or regain confidence in having a home practice. Participants will receive sequences to assist them in developing a home practice. Students will learn appropriate modifications for any limitations they might be working as well as receive suggestions from the teacher as to which postures will be of most benefit to them to include in their regular home practice.

Each class will be mostly asana and a bit of discussion. Athena will lead students through a practice and participants will receive a copy with images of the week’s practice to utilize in their home practice until the next class meets.

This series is for all-levels of students who have an interest in the subject of yoga. Minimum requirement is three months of beginning level yoga classes or completion of the fundamentals series.
