Pranayama for Beginners with Leah Flaks Greenberg

Mon & Wed: 13 and 15 @ 7 – 8 am

Sunrise Pranayama – Arise and Uplift your Day

Learn the basics of pranayama: how to set up, basic breathing technique, and how to soothe your nervous system

Improve your overall health, especially your lungs, reduce stress and promote peace, and find mental clarity, energy and focus with deep relaxation

Recommended:  Minimum 3 months of experience with Iyengar Yoga.

Sangha Meditation with Cynthia Bates

every Monday while we are sheltering in place @ 7:30 – 8:30 pm

Come together for a community contemplative hour. We will explore different topics and techniques for working with the emotions and thinking mind. Open to all.

Finding Equilibrium with Michael Lucey

every Friday while we are sheltering in place @ 6 – 8 pm

A two-hour asana class devoted to the pursuit of equilibrium. Equilibrium can be physical, or physiological, or mental, or emotional. How can we aim for all these kinds of equilibrium in our asana practice?

Recommended: Minimum one year experience of Iyengar Yoga. This practice will include inversions, alternatives will be offered.

Learn to Chant with Francesca Nicosia

Wednesday April 15 @ 7:45 t0 8:45 pm – Last class in the series

Experience and learn the devotional practice of Vedic chanting! We will explore listening and chanting in Sanskrit as an integrating experience for body, mind, and breath.

Each gathering will begin with learning and polishing invocations such as the Invocation to Patanjali, Ganesh mantra, and the student-teacher prayer, followed by singing together in call-and-response kirtan, and close with sitting quietly.

Recommended: No experience is needed. If you have no experience with chanting or Sanskrit that is ok. All are welcome.

Tuition: $10 drop in per session. Free to Adeline Members.

Live Streaming is Great!

All our live-online classes are offered in real time with you, the teacher and other students connecting virtually through Zoom’s video conferencing software. You will be able to see the teacher and interact with them.  And if you choose, the teacher can see you too!  These classes are joyful and illuminating.  There will be time after class to interact with the group and ask questions.  Our teachers are all committed to being there for you.

For all classes, you must pre-register at least 30-minutes before class.  Fifteen minutes before the class starts, you will receive a unique zoom log-in and specific instructions.

Please check your Promotions or Spam folders if you do not receive a confirmation email after registering or if you have not received the Zoom link 15 minutes before the start of a class.  Email support@adelineyoga.com if you need any help.
