Yoga for Digestive Wellness

Digestive issues are one of the most common causes of suffering. Not only are the uncomfortable, they can also cause many of us to feel low energy and down.These problems can get amplified as we move into the holiday season of desserts and drinks. If you suffer from any kind of digestive tract issues, from heartburn or bloating to gas, or irritable bowel syndrome, this class will give you practices to help manage digestive distress as well as poses you can do to prevent future suffering. Cynthia will also include a short lecture on cultivating healthy eating habits through the holidays.

Cynthia Bates is an experienced Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher based in San Francisco. Her goal as a teacher is to inspire transformational experiences that lead to life change. In addition to yoga, she has a background in nutrition, with training from Bauman College School of Holistic Nutrition.
