The power of practice: 5 day Asana Immersion

Yoga is a deeply transformative practice on all levels, physical and emotional. You receive the most benefits when you practice consistently, ideally on a daily basis. It takes discipline, dedication and inspiration to create a daily regimen of yoga! Being with a community of like-minded people who are committed to the same goal is one of the ways to inspire yourself.

Join us for 5 days of yoga in a row.  The week will mirror a practice you might do at home, with each day focusing on a different category of poses. By the end of the immersion you will feel ready to embark upon your own home practice.  You will receive practice sequences and tips to further your study.

The immersion is for students who have 3+ months of regular practice with a certified Iyengar teacher.

This program is an important part of the Sadhana Studies Program

About the instructor:

Heather Haxo Phillips is a certified Iyengar yoga instructor at the Junior Intermediate III level, among the highest certified Iyengar teachers in the East Bay. She is Director of Adeline Yoga and has been teaching for nearly 15 years. Heather is past President of the Board of Directors for the Iyengar Yoga Association of Northern California, for which she recently retired after seven years of service. She is also certified as a restorative yoga teacher and has training to help with scoliosis, injuries, women’s health and pre-natal yoga.
