Explore the body and breath with seasonal yoga immersions
Join us for the last immersion of 2021:
Yoga immersions give a boost of inspiration and a new perspective for our practice – and a renewed sense of commitment to our wellbeing. There is something very special about focusing on yoga with the same group of people over an extended period of time – even online – that brings support and continuity to our practice.
Setting aside time for your yoga practice is prioritizing time to nourish yourself on multiple levels – physical, mental, emotional and even spiritual. Join Anneke and Sachiko for this yogic booster injection. Each immersion will evolve around a specific theme. We will explore foundational asanas and pranayama through a variety of perspectives such as specific body parts and particular asanas.
This program will be held on zoom and is open to practitioners from around the world.
Register for one or both sessions.
Recordings from this program will be sent each day to participants, available for 30 days after the program.
This program is for you if :
You want a taste of how a daily practice can improve your confidence and reduce stress.
You’re curious how yoga philosophy can support your daily life
You want to use savasana and pranayama to give a sense of quiet within
You want to build strong relationships and join a community of like-minded people
Who is this for? Students of Iyengar yoga with a year of experience who are seeking deeper experience to boost their practice. Ability to do shoulder stand and a basic knowledge of sirsasana is mandatory. If these poses are contraindicated for you, you should know the appropriate alternatives.
Meets Sunday afternoon plus Monday – Friday in the mornings:
Sunday 1 – 3 pm PST: Orientation, Intention Setting and Light Asana Practice
Monday thru Friday 7 – 8:30 am PST: Asana and Pranayama
