This class is offered for those whose injuries and limitations make it necessary to practice slowly and with focus. This class teaches students how to help themselves using the healing benefits of asana as their tool. For example, it offers techniques for bone health, muscular strength, balance maintenance, and injury prevention to help us as we age.
Adeline Yoga has been offering Yoga for Healthy Aging and Yoga for Osteoporosis classes on zoom for years. We are firmly committed to continuing our online programs AND we know that its important to offer in-person opportunities if we can.
With the new studio we now have a much bigger space, and good ventilation with high ceilings. Many of our students have repeatedly asked for these classes to be offered in person, in the studio.
Shari has agreed to offer a covid cautious monthly yoga class for Healthy Aging. Shari will bring high quality KN 95 masks for students that choose to wear one. Shari herself will be masked teaching the class. Masking is a way to continue to take care of our community especially our older and immunocompromised students who may be missing the availability of in person covid safer group classes.
Shari will continue to teach her online Yoga for Osteoporosis classes on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm
