Once spring comes along, many people think about doing a cleanse or detox program. There are many different methods out there. In this talk we discuss the Ayurvedic approach to cleanses and detoxes: who should do it, when best to do it according to the seasonal rhythms of the body, what different kinds of ayurvedic cleanses are out there and what is the best process for each of them. We’ll talk about food and herbs to be taken before, during and after the cleanse to support the elimination of toxins and the reintroduction and rejuvenation steps to be taken once the cleanse is done.
