Emotional well-being comes from a sense that we have the skills and resources to face lifeβs inevitable ups and downs. When we donβt have this resilience, we can feel like we are drowning or being buffeted on a stormy sea between extreme emotions of anxiety, elation to depression and avoidance of life. Yoga asana (postures) give us a safe way to explore our emotional states as well as the means to strengthen our body, mind and spirit.
During this series we will address short-term antidotes and longer terms management strategies for working with difficult emotions like anger, irritation, grief, depression, anxiety and trauma.
Join Cynthia for a nourishing practice of yoga in support of finding contentment under any condition.
