Applications due by September 15, 2020. Please submit your application as soon as you can. You will need that time to prepare for an auspicious start to the Immersion. Once you have registered, we will send you a welcome packet. This will include a required materials list, your first home practice sequences and initial homework assignment.
Requirements for application
A supple body is not a requirement for this program, or for the practice of yoga. Students of all body types who seek the challenge presented by this program should consider applying.
The requirements for this program include:
- Participants in the general program must have a minimum of 2 year consistent study with a CIYT (Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher). Applicants for the apprentice program must have a minimum of 3 years consistent study with a CIYT.
- Commitment to yoga as practiced in the lineage of B.K.S. Iyengar.
- For Apprentices: Commitment to teach Iyengar yoga exclusively once the decision to pursue Iyengar Yoga Certification has been made
We will contact you within 1 week after receiving your application.
Once accepted, your Student Agreement form and first payment are due within two weeks. This holds your space in the program. Your deposit goes towards your tuition. If you are unable to make a payment within 14 days, we may not be be able to hold your place.

Seeking financial support? One full scholarship, two partial scholarships and several work-study opportunities are available. These offerings are an invitation to participate and not necessarily needs based. Students of color, those living with disabilities or who identify as LGBTQIA+ are especially encouraged to inquire about this opportunity. Registration is completed in two phases: (1) Application and (2) Payment. The first payment of at least $500 is due within 14 days of acceptance.
The remaining balance is due in full by the first day of the program. Payments may be made up to the first day of training.

Students who pay by cash or check can make as many payments as they like prior to the start of the program with no additional processing fees.
If you need to pay in installments via credit card, we can offer two and four-installment payment plans:
Option 1: Deposit then two equal payments
Deposit of $500 is due within 14 days of acceptance.
Second payment is due Oct 1 (automatically processed on your credit card/debit card/ACH)
Third payment is due Dec 1 (automatically processed on your credit card/debit card/ACH)
Includes a $70 processing fee
Option 2: Deposit then four equal payments
Deposit of $500 is due within 14 days of acceptance
Subsequent payments will be automatically deducted via your designated account – credit card/debit card/ACH – every 30 days starting October 1
Includes a $95 processing fee
Cancellations made before the start of the program will receive a refund minus a $250 processing fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations after the start of the program.
