A special in-person workshop with Deborah Saliby
Back pain is often caused from too much sitting and standing with bad posture. Unhealthy habits build up over time. Simple stretches and particular movements along with strength building can create great improvements, especially if maintained.
In this special workshop, Deborah will take you through a specific back care sequence using the rope wall and other props. This will allow you to open the body, gently adjust and realign your spine. Deborah will teach you a greater awareness through particular movements in your back, help you release built-up tensions and stress and enable you to feel more at ease and comfortable in your body and mind.
Deborah Saliby is a long time yoga teacher from the Iyengar tradition. She loves teaching and helping people find comfort and ease in their bodies. Join us in person and feel better.
Who is this program for? It is best for students who have some yoga experience. It is wonderful for anyone who feels general stiffness and occasional pain due to compressions and minor misalignment. It is also suitable for those wanting to learn basic movements and strength building so they don’t injure themselves. If you have major injuries, private 1-on-1 lessons with Deborah would be best, not this workshop.
In-Person at Adeline Yoga: This workshop will be held in-person at our studio in Berkeley.
