Join master yoga teacher Arunji on his tour to launch his new book dedicated to using the chair as an instrument of study. Students will learn to look at the chair as an “old prop with new potential”.
Much of the workshop will focus on the material in his new book: Experiment and Experience on the Chair. Arun always offers a well-balanced, challenging, deep, (sometimes restorative) and powerful class. He is very attentive to every student in the room.
Each session will be a complete experience, though the material will build as we progress through the three days. If you attend the entire workshop you will receive a full understanding of a wide spectrum of poses including standing poses, forward-folds, twists, inversions and backbends.
Come prepared to be surprised, to laugh, and to wake up with a true yoga teacher.
This is a multi-level workshop appropriate for students with 6 months of Iyengar yoga experience or more. Level 1 students and graduates of the Fundamentals program are encouraged to attend. Yoga teachers and serious students will learn new tools for exploration and inspiration. Please register early. We will limit the class size.
