Both yoga (asana and pranayama) and ayurveda involve practices to address our current conditions. When we use them together, we can more effectively work with our emotions, physical health and spiritual well-being.
In this workshop, Jesse will help us explore how to apply our ayurvedic constitution to our yoga asana and pranayama practice. Through understanding your unique constitution, and states that evolve from your constitution such as emotions, types of fatigue, and even expressions of the common cold, your yoga practice can be altered to balance it. In this workshop, you will learn how yoga effects the doshas, and you will explore asanas to balance specific constitutions – and the disorders that come about when the doshas are disturbed.
This class will be an interactive lecture style and include asana, come dressed to practice.
