For many of us, the hips remain uncharted territory. Yet, freedom in the hips is essential to the health of our knees and low back.
The hips serve as the bridge connecting the legs to the trunk. When the hips are tight or blocked in some ways, we may overcompensate by holding undue tension in the knees and lower back.
In this workshop we will work to release tension and stiffness in the hips that will help us balance the pelvis and relieve pain in the lower body. We will create freedom and find proper extension in the spine, taking weight off the lower back and knees.
This is appropriate for all levels, geared toward those who have at least 6 months experience with Iyengar Yoga.
Held in-person at our studio in Berkeley and online.
Tuition:
$90 for this special series of three classes
Single session: $35
This includes a recording that’s valid for 1 month after each session.
